16/7 Renata Chlumska chooses Point 65!

Renata Chlumska is one of the worlds leading adventurers. As the first Swedish woman on the summit of Mount Everest she holds a special place in our history books. But Mount Everest is just a small part of Renates achievements. In 2005 - 2006 Renata spent 439 days circumnavigating the lower 48 states of the US in a kayak and on a bike.

Point 65 and Renata (and her companion Göran Kropp, who was killed in a tragic climbing accident in 2002) go way back. We started a cooperation around kayaking back in 1999 and have been in touch ever since.
Now Renata has chosen a Point 65 X-Ray as her personal kayak as well as appointed Point 65 the main kayak supplier for "Böda Adventure Center", her experience center on the island of Öland in Sweden.

Renate on Point 65: "When choosing a kayak supplier for my experience center, Böda Äventyr, performance and quality were the most decisive factors. Therefor the choice of Point 65 was an easy one. The fact that I prefer Point 65 for my personal paddling made the choice so much easier."

Böda Adventure Center is a unique experience center in a unique environment. Renata offers world class instructors and staff as well as a brand new, state of the art kayak fleet and a kayak shop with an excellent range of boats and accessories. I am very proud that Renata has chosen Point 65 as her main kayak supplier and a Point 65 as her personal boat. Renata is a unique inspiration to us all and I can highly recommend taking your next paddling adventure to Böda Äventyr on Öland!
